Soundtracks to imaginary horror films

In this series, I will capture process notes on creativity and magic. The series is inspired by Libra II: Zone Rites, which is part of Atmospheres. The illustration, inspired by the Three of Swords tarot card, is by Kening Zhu. As are all the Atmospheres illustrations.

This morning, I woke just before seven and sat in the living room. A streak of pink light reflected on the surface of the lamp on an otherwise gloomy morning. It was brighter on the silver fittings and paled to a rosy blush on the beaten copper bowl.

I listened to a haunted ambient mix from Grey Frequencies and thought about how paranormal investigators use sound to capture ghostly frequencies.

It made me think about one of the characters in my novel in progress, a musician, and whether she might soundtrack a horror film.
